Lucerne Festival Orchestral Premiere
On September 7th the world premiere of Isolarion for orchestra will take place at Lucerne Festival.

Tanglewood Festival of Contemporary Music
On August 8th the world premiere of a new commission, The Years of Light, for two voices and large mixed ensemble will take place at Tanglewood Festival of Contemporary Music.

Forthcoming European Performances
Heaven's Chimes are Slow for flute and piano will be performed by Adam Walker and Marino Formenti at Wigmore Hall, London, on April 6th at 11.30am. May 16th sees the second performance of Incandescence for solo cello by Jean-Guihen Queyras at Luxembourg Philharmonie (Salle de Musique de Chambre). On May 17th the Ligeti Quartet will perform Mason's arrangement of Huang Hai-Huai's Racing Horses at MOOT @ St Nicholas Church, Brighton. On August 4th Noctilucence will be performed at the Festival Messiaen au pays de la Meije, by London Sinfonietta and George Benjamin.

Lucerne Festival Academy Workshop: September 1st 2012

Octandre Ensemble: Embracing Eternity

Christian recently completed Learning Self-Modulation, a new violin/piano duo, to be performed in Paris, Madrid and London by Carolin Widmann and Simon Lepper in October.
